I didn't originally have word verification turned on, but then the first comment I ever got went something along the lines of "yo i've been checking out your blog looks like you might be interested in my blog wwww.cheapcarburetors.com or somesuch.
By the way, the google ads block your name; it might just be a conflict with Firefox, though.
